Why We Let You Choose Your Garrocha Ring Size

When we first designed our Garrocha Rings, our goal was a stable, magnet-free ring that worked across multiple mounts and conditions. That led to our patent-pending decagon design and an original ring size of 160 mm (6.3") outer diameter.

Initial rulebook reviews showed vague or non-specific size requirements, typically around 6 inches (150 mm). However, some customers asked about size and thickness, prompting us to dig deeper. Most rulebooks mention “15 cm diameter” but don’t specify whether that’s inner or outer. The exception is Australia’s rulebook, which does specify outside diameter—unlike most ring sizing standards (like jewelry, which use inner diameter).

To give riders flexibility, we now offer three ring options, all compatible with our mounts:

• Original Ring: 160 mm outer diameter
• New Style Rings: Same outer profile, but thinner grip
• Large Version: 153 mm inner diameter (for full-size accuracy)
• Small Version: 153 mm outer diameter (matches typical 6" spec)
• Precision Training Ring: 114 mm outer diameter (4.5")
